Picking Super Bowl Decorations

Organizing a Super Bowl party sounds like a fun idea in theory, but can be a nightmare in practice. There’s a million things to get in order before the big day, from Super Bowl decorations to food arrangements. Don’t let yourself become overwhelmed by everything that needs to get done. Properly planning and efficiently executing everything will ensure your bash goes off without a hitch.

The first thing to remember is not to fret over the décor. The party-goers will be distracted enough between socializing, criticizing commercials and eating food. A little dash of color here or there will be sufficient enough to create an atmosphere, so try not to focus on more than representing team colors and having a few football focused appetizers. Football-shaped chocolate treats are simple and easy to make.

Consider that if your guests weren’t going to a house party, they’d probably be hitting up the local watering hole. As such, don’t go beyond bar food. Wings, chips, and dips will more than win over your friends, and they don’t require hours of preparation. There’s a plethora of great recipes available online. Something as simple as baking a cake and icing it like a football field will give you serious wow factor.

Another great way to spice things up is by planning some games. Set up a drinking game that charts every beer commercial or bad referee call. The half-time show is bound to feature a washed up rock band that will sound terrible, so maybe create a similar game based around that. The Super Bowl is a fun enough occasion in itself. Your job is to create small ways to compliment that.
